There are many options available when it comes to residential paving, ranging from cost-effective overlay options to in-depth removal and replacement methods. We recommend an overlay if you are looking to repair only surface damage, such as small cracks, potholes, and water damage. This is a freshly laid layer of asphalt, approximately 2 inches thick. It is applied over your existing driveway, or if there is a grading problem, an overlay is not going to be sufficient.

On the other hand, if your driveway is more deteriorated, we recommend complete removal and replacement of the asphalt. In this process, we must dig up the existing asphalt in order to create a new base and finish layer.
